Beautification/Uplifting of Monuments in Sargodha
The majority of monuments were chalked out in Sargodha City. PHA Sargodha started beautification/ uplifting of these monuments by installing lights and rehabilitating such sites. The rehabilitation/improvement of these monuments was completed at the end of 2020. However, the maintenance of these sites is looked after daily by the labour/field staff of PHA Sargodha.
Beautification/Uplifting of Bab-e-Sargodha, Lahore Road
The site is located at the entrance point of Sargodha from Lahore side i.e. Lahore Road. PHA Sargodha started beautification/uplifting of entry points of the city. In this regard, this project was initiated and completed in 2020. The site has been decorated by installing different types of monuments and lights. The plantation was carried out in mid-2020 alongside roads for beautification.
Waterfall at ZamZam Chowk, Katchehry Road
The site is located at ZamZam Chowk, Katchehry Road. PHA Sargodha started beautification/uplifting of different points in the greenbelts of the city. In this regard, this project was initiated and completed in 2020. It has been adorned with the installation of lights and a waterfall.
Miyawaki Forest and Botanical Garden, University Road
The site is located at University Road, Sargodha. PHA Sargodha started establishing Miyawaki Forests and Botanical Gardens in different locations in the city. In this regard, Miyawaki Forest and Botanical Garden were established at University Road, Sargodha for the residents of the city. This project includes dense plantation and have tags on different plants/trees including their name and family for the awareness of the general public. A playground has also been established for kids having swings and rides for amusement.
Beautification of PHA Office Wall, University Road
The site is located outside PHA Office, University Road, Sargodha. The walls of the office have been painted and artwork carried out to portray the traditions and culture of the city.
